Bangalore Tamil dialects
Tamil is the second-most spoken language in the city of Bangalore in Karnataka, India.
There is a strong Tamil community in Bangalore comprising 31% of the population and speaking Tamil as their first language. Majority of the Tamilians can be found in eastern and northeastern Bangalore. There are two main dialects of Tamil spoken in Bangalore - the Tigala dialect and the Dalit dialect.[1]
